117 minutes is the duration of Umrah during the month of Jumada al-Akhirah

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced today, Saturday, that the average Umrah time during the month of Jumada al-Akhirah reached 117 minutes, and the percentage of Umrah pilgrims who performed Tawaf in the courtyard was 94% and 64% who performed Sa’i on the ground floor.

The authority stated in a statement today, Saturday, that the time duration for circumambulation during the same month was 46 minutes, the duration for sa’i was 51 minutes, and the time duration for moving from the squares to the station was 10 minutes, and from the station to the path was 10 minutes, according to the Saudi News Agency “SPA”.


The authority confirmed its keenness, through careful follow-up, to facilitate the movement of pilgrims inside the Grand Mosque and its facilities. To perform their rituals with comfort and reassurance.

In 2025, the number of Umrah pilgrims in the first quarter reached more than 15.2 million, and in the second quarter about 5.44 million, with males being the largest group in general, with certain age groups (such as 25-34 years for home and abroad) constituting the majority.
