UAE players lead the International Open Championship for Bow and Arrow

Dubai, December 29 / WAM / UAE male and female players topped the International Open Championship competitions for bow and arrow, with 12 medals, 5 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze, while the Indian players’ tally came with 6 medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze.

The tournament, which was held over the course of Saturday and Sunday at the Dubai Club for People of Determination, witnessed the participation of 63 male and female players, who competed individually in the men’s and women’s categories, and in the under-18 categories for both categories, in the compound and convex arch.

Indian Seshad Andhra won the men’s bow category, Seb Sankar won silver, and Abdullah Obaid Al Ketbi won bronze. Indian player Divakar Shinhal won women’s gold in the women’s bow category, Fatima Muhammad won silver, and Saudi player Laina Al-Munajim won bronze.

Mansour Saeed Al Ketbi won the gold in the under-18 bow category, Khalifa Musabah Al Kaabi won the silver, and South Korea’s Yongim Lee the bronze. Mona Faisal Al Shara also excelled in the under-18 bow competition, winning the gold, Sheikha Abdul Ghani won the silver, and the bronze went to Jordanian Zeina Al Harimi.

Muhammad Saleh Mubarak won gold in the men’s compound arch, Indian Vishnu Naryamboli won silver, and his compatriot Artesh Aravind won bronze, while Amna Yousef Al-Awadhi won gold in the women’s compound arch, Indian Rakshita Saravanan won silver, and Rawda Yousef Al-Awadhi won bronze.

Shehab Al-Saadi won the gold medal in the under-18 compound arch, Egyptian Mohamed Kamal Saleh won the silver, his compatriot Mohamed Amr Qutb won the bronze, Indian Pratishta Singh won the gold in the under-18 compound arch, Chinese Jiaxin Li won the silver, and Marwa Salman won the bronze.

The winners were crowned by Her Excellency Hanadi Khalifa Al Kaboori, President of the Federation, Humaid Al Shamsi, Vice President of the Federation, Salem Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Competitions Committee, and Sheikha Al Khatri, Chair of the Referees Committee.
