The Saudi stock market index fell 0.7% at the beginning of Tuesday’s trading


The Saudi stock market index opened (TASI) trading today, Tuesday, decreased by 0.7% at the level of 10,423 points, with trades amounting to 239 million riyals.

The amount of shares traded in the morning session amounted to about 13 million shares, while the market value reached 8.792 trillion riyals, according to "TadawulSaudi Arabia"

Shares of 223 companies decreased.

The beginning of trading witnessed a decline in the shares of 223 companies, compared to an increase in the shares of 30 companies out of 266 companies listed on (TASI). The rises were led by: Iyan, Al Ramz, Nama Chemicals, Derayah REIT, and Musharaka REIT. On the other hand, the most prominent declines were for the shares of: Flynas, Comprehensive Path, Dallah Health, Sinomi Retail, and Paper Industry.

Parallel Market

The Parallel Market (Nomu) at the beginning of today’s trading recorded 23,269 points, while the value traded amounted to 1.43 million riyals, the quantity of shares was 161 thousand shares, and the market value was 42 million riyals.

The beginning of the session witnessed an increase in the shares of 5 companies compared to a decrease in the shares of 6 companies out of a total of 126 companies in the parallel market.
