Work will begin on amending some fees for Federal Tax services at the beginning of next January

The Federal Tax Authority announced the entry into force of Cabinet Resolution No. 174 of 2025 regarding fees for services provided by the Federal Tax Authority, as of next January 1.
The Authority explained that, pursuant to the new decision, two new fees were introduced and added to the schedule of fees for services provided by the Authority, the services “Request to conclude a unilateral advance pricing agreement for the first time” and “Request to renew or amend a unilateral advance pricing agreement” within the framework of enhancing tax compliance and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in application procedures for taxable persons.
The Authority indicated that the decision comes in line with the government’s directions in developing digital government services, whereby the fees related to the two services “Issuing a new, certified paper tax registration certificate (replacement for a lost one)” and “Issuing a new, certified paper warehouse keeper registration certificate (replacement for a lost one)” were cancelled. The Authority will issue free electronic registration certificates to all registrants, which include a “QR Code” that allows checking the registration status electronically, eliminating the need for paper certificates and enhancing ease of access to services.
