4128 kilometers.. Algeria and Niger agree to complete the trans-Saharan gas pipeline

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced the launch of the The Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline through Nigerien territory, in agreement with the President of Algeria to accompany Niger, and provide the necessary support and capabilities for the success of the project.
This agreement comes as a continuation of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2022 between Algeria, Niger and Nigeria, to complete a gas pipeline with a total length of 4,128 kilometers, at an estimated cost of about 13 billion dollars, with the aim of connecting Nigerian gas fields to the Algerian network and marketing the gas in European markets.
