Sharjah Private Education approves the formation of the Council of Private School Directors

The Sharjah Private Education Authority has approved the formation of the Council of Directors of Private Schools in the Emirate as part of its ongoing efforts to develop the private education system and enhance institutional partnership with private schools.
The new formation of the council was approved at its fourth session, during an official meeting held today with the participation of private school principals.
The formation included the appointment of Majd Madi Sheikh Hussein as Chairman of the Council, and James Stanley Stearns as Vice-Chairman, and the appointment of Raed Sobhi Youssef Abdullah and Samar Al-Shalabi Murad as members of the Executive Council, in addition to the appointment of Valerie Lewis Thompson as Secretary.
The formation of the Council of Private School Directors included: Khadooj Hassan Ayush, Asma Gilani, Dr. Pramod Mahajan, Syed Najaf Ali Shah, Asma Muhammad Ali Abu Sheikha, Dr. Nisreen Banu Pedrihali Rauf, Tariq Sheikh Ismail, Wissam Ibrahim Hamad, Samer Mahmoud, and Mona Muhammad as members of the council.
The Private School Directors Council works under the slogan “Together we learn, lead and serve,” as an educational advisory council representing private education schools in the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of enabling them to participate effectively in providing advice and contributing to supporting the educational decision-making process.
The authority confirmed that the formation of the council comes within the framework of its commitment to enhancing integrated work with private schools and providing an effective platform for cooperation and consultation in a way that contributes to developing the private education system and raising the level of educational performance in the emirate.
