Dubai Police celebrates the Unified Gulf Inmate Week 2025

The General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions in Dubai Police, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Interior, participated in the activities of the Unified Gulf Inmate Week 2025, as part of the celebrations of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on this occasion.

The activities varied to include religious, educational, rehabilitation and sports programmes.

The Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions at Dubai Police, Brigadier General Salah Jumaa Bu Osaiba, confirmed that the Department’s participation in the Unified Gulf Inmate Week 2025, which is held under the slogan “Towards the Path to Reform,” embodies the Dubai Police’s firm commitment to implementing an integrated correctional system that places the human being at the heart of the rehabilitation process, and relies on cognitive, professional and behavioral empowerment as basic paths to reform.

He explained that the programs implemented during the occasion contribute to building the inmates’ capabilities, enhancing their self-confidence, and consolidating the concepts of responsibility and discipline.
