Urgent: Starting tomorrow, we will stop receiving any postal shipment that does not include the national address
Confirmed The General Authority for Transport has announced that, starting tomorrow, the first Thursday of January 2026, it will begin implementing the decision obligating all parcel transport companies not to receive or transport any postal shipment that does not include a national address, as part of its efforts to raise the efficiency of this sector and improve the services provided to beneficiaries.
This decision came as part of a strategic step, aiming to improve the customer experience, speed up delivery operations, in addition to reducing unnecessary communications between delegates and beneficiaries, which contributes to achieving the highest standards of accuracy. And streamlined operational processes carried out by parcel transport companies.
The General Transport Authority explained that everyone can know the national address through four digital platforms: "Preach good news", "We trust"and"My health"In addition to "ways"Parcel transportation, in a way that enhances sustainability and consolidates the Kingdom’s position as a leading global center in this field.
The General Authority for Transport revealed, during the last month of Ramadan, that the number of postal shipments delivered by licensed companies exceeded the barrier of 26 million postal shipments, recording a growth rate of 18% compared to the same period last year, which reflects the accelerating extent of growth witnessed by this sector in the Kingdom.
