Brent crude rises 0.26%… Oil prices stabilize amid market anticipation

stabilized, today, in light of the state of anticipation prevailing in the markets awaiting developments on a group of issues in the world.
At around midday, the price of a barrel of North Sea crude, for delivery in March, rose by 0.26% to $61.49.

While the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude, for delivery in February, rose by 0.31% to reach $58.13.
Analysts believe that some geopolitical tensions prevailing on the international scene allowed oil to maintain the gains it achieved at the beginning of the week.
