UAE hosts Asian Modern Pentathlon 2026
Abu Dhabi, December 31 / WAM / The Emirates Modern Pentathlon Federation announced that the Emirates has won the right to host the Asian Biathle, Triathlon and Laser Run Championships, scheduled next year in October.
Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, President of the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation, said that hosting this continental event confirms the AFC’s confidence in the country’s organizational capabilities.
She revealed that the year 2025 witnessed an increase in the number of players registered in the federation to 120 male and female players in various age groups, while the number of clubs under its umbrella reached 3 clubs: Maliha, Kalba, and Al Bataeh, in addition to the players of the Armed Forces modern pentathlon team, who numbered 18 players, while the number of accredited academies and training centers reached 4 centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah.
