"Egyptian Petroleum": Accelerating the connection of two new wells to production after promising discoveries

CAIRO, 1st January / WAM / The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources revealed promising production results following the completion of drilling two new wells in the Western Desert, where preliminary tests showed a combined natural flow estimated at approximately 1,650 barrels of crude oil and 19 million cubic feet of gas per day.
The Ministry explained that the two wells, “Dorra-36” and “Gharb Yasmine-3,” targeted the “Al-Khatahtba” and “Mosques” geological formations using the latest drilling techniques.
She stated that the technical teams are currently continuing to work on accelerating the connection of the two wells to existing production facilities, to ensure that they enter service and enhance production rates as soon as possible.
