The Nigerian army announces the killing of 40 terrorists
The Nigerian Defense and Security Forces announced the killing of (40) terrorists and the arrest of (96) people suspected of being involved in or linked to Terrorist groups, following air and ground operations carried out throughout the country.
The Nigerian army explained in its weekly statement broadcast on national television, that these operations also resulted in the confiscation of large quantities of weapons and equipment.
Weapons confiscation
The seizures include (23) weapons, thousands of bullets, and (1,732) boxes of materials. banned, and about (194) kilograms of Indian cannabis, in addition to more than (17) thousand liters of smuggled fuel.
The army added in its statement that two homemade bombs were also discovered and destroyed during these operations.
