The UAE calls on the Yemenis to give priority to wisdom, stop escalation, and resolve differences through dialogue
Abu Dhabi, 3 January / WAM / The United Arab Emirates is following with great concern the recent developments in Yemen, and expresses its regret over the current escalation, calling on the Yemeni brothers to give priority to wisdom and self-restraint, and to ensure the establishment of security and stability in the country.
The UAE, based on its firm concern for the security, stability and prosperity of Yemen and the region, stresses the importance of stopping the escalation, giving priority to the language of dialogue over confrontation, and addressing the existing differences between the Yemeni brothers through understanding and consensus on sustainable political solutions, through a rational and responsible approach that upholds the interests of the nation and its people, and places the priority of construction, stability and prosperity at the forefront of considerations.
The UAE affirms that calm and dialogue represent the best way to overcome the current challenges, thus contributing to consolidating stability in Yemen and the region and achieving the aspirations of its people for security and prosperity.
