US military action in Venezuela is “very disturbing and worthy of condemnation”

Russia condemned the US military operation in Venezuela on Saturday, indicating that there was no justification for the attack, which it considered to reflect the dominance of “intellectual hostility” over diplomacy.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “This morning, the United States carried out an armed aggression against Venezuela. It is very disturbing and deserves condemnation.”
She added, “Intellectual hostility trumped serious pragmatism.”
