The American artificial intelligence application company, OpenAI, is preparing to launch a smart personal device that relies entirely on voice instead of traditional screens, as part of its endeavor to redefine how to interact with technology.

The company explained that it had integrated several internal teams, including engineering, product, and research, with the aim of developing an advanced audio model of the new generation, and pointed out that its engineering teams cooperated during the past two months to redesign its audio models, in preparation for launching a smart device that relies entirely on sound within about a year.

The new model of “Open AI” includes a variety of devices, such as glasses or smart speakers without a screen. These devices aim to reduce the need to use multiple screens that consume time and attention, while focusing on higher-quality and more interactive sound.

Through this device, OpenAI seeks to move from being just a software provider to a consumer electronics company that integrates artificial intelligence into the daily lives of users via voice, allowing tasks to be completed and communication without the need to look at the phone screen.
