Meteorology also issued a red alert for the Riyadh region, including the governorates of Al-Aflaj, Al-Kharj, Hotat Bani Tamim, open areas and highways.
It warned of dense fog and a lack of horizontal visibility (1) km or less, until 08:00 on Sunday morning.
