المملكة: Makkah Health Cluster: More than 3 million visits to primary care centers during 2025

Primary health care centers affiliated with Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Cluster A remarkable growth in the number of beneficiaries during the year 2025 AD, after the total number of visits exceeded 3 million visits, in an indicator that reflects the expansion of services and the improvement of the efficiency of the primary health care system.

The health cluster indicated that the total number of visits reached 3,013,063 visits during the year 2025, compared to 2,463,446 visits in 2024, an increase It amounted to 549,617 visits, with a growth rate of 22.3%, which reflects the high level of demand and utilization of primary health care services.

He indicated that this increase came as a result of the expansion in providing Health services, improving operating efficiency, and increasing the capacity of health centers, in addition to continuing to provide services according to the highest standards of quality and safety, which contributed to strengthening the confidence of beneficiaries and increasing demand for the centers.

Remarkable activity

The association indicated that a number of health centers witnessed remarkable activity during the year, as Al-Sharay’a Health Center (7) topped the list of centers that received the most beneficiaries by providing its services to 218,996. beneficiaries, followed by Al-Zahir Health Center with 143,094 beneficiaries, then Al-Aziziyah Health Center with 137,459 visits, while Al-Nawwariyah Centers recorded 132,075 visits, Hada’a 129,384 visits, Al-Jamoum 115,178 visits, in addition to Al-Kakiyah Health Center with 72,020 visits, Al-Hindawiyah 68,542 visits, and Al-Sharqiyah Centers recorded 68,542 visits. With 65,716 visits, then Al-Sharay’a Health Center (2) with 62,957 beneficiaries.

The health cluster confirmed that these positive indicators reflect the success of the approved development plans, the effectiveness of health care delivery models, and the integration between preventive and curative services, in addition to the beneficiaries’ confidence in the quality of the services provided.

This comes as an extension of efforts to improve the beneficiary’s experience and facilitate access to model paths and systems. Saudi health care, through expanding electronic booking services, reducing waiting times, and improving the work environment within health centers.

The Makkah Al-Mukarramah Health Assembly stressed the continuation of its efforts to develop the construction and digital infrastructure, and raise the readiness of medical and administrative staff, in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality of health services and achieving health transformation goals.
