Ajman Government Media Office"dead" They organize a workshop on commitment to societal values ​​on social media platforms

Ajman, June 5 / WAM / The Ajman Government Media Office organized a specialized workshop, in cooperation with “Meta”, which dealt with adherence to professional standards and societal values ​​on social media platforms, as part of the efforts aimed at promoting the creation of conscious content and raising the quality of digital media outputs.

The workshop was attended by officials responsible for media and institutional communication in Ajman government departments, along with more than 90 media professionals and influencers on social media platforms from various parts of the country.

The organization of the workshop came within the directives of the Ajman Government Media Office aimed at developing a responsible digital media environment, consolidating the UAE’s position as a leading global center in media creativity and innovation, and enhancing the presence of balanced and reliable content on interactive platforms.

Ahmed Shehadeh, Head of the Government Sector at Meta in the Middle East and North Africa region, the workshop presenter, reviewed the best practices in producing and managing digital content across social platforms, in addition to mechanisms for raising the quality of published content in a way that contributes to enhancing credibility and expanding the impact of media messages.

The workshop emphasized the importance of conscious use of digital platforms, and the necessity of understanding the nature of publishing in cyberspace and the commitment it requires to standards of media content and societal values, especially in light of the increasing influence of social media platforms in shaping public opinion.
