10 horses will compete tomorrow for the title of President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses in Sweden

Stockholm, June 5 / WAM / Tomorrow, Saturday, the Swedish Tour competitions for the title of His Highness the President of the State’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, the second European stop on the agenda of the 33rd edition of the World Racing Series, will be held at the Gardet grass track in Stockholm, in conjunction with the National Day celebrations of the Kingdom of Sweden.

The prestigious Cup racing series continues its distinguished successes in its global tours, and its pioneering role in enhancing the status of the purebred Arabian horse in the most prestigious tracks, through specific races that contribute to encouraging the acquisition and care of Arabian horses, and developing its presence in major international festivals and races, in a way that preserves its legacy and its purebred path, and keeps pace with the UAE’s vision in supporting owners and breeders of Arabian horses around the world.

The Sweden Tour is one of the most prominent Arabian horse races in Scandinavia, as it witnesses the participation of 10 of the elite Arabian horses in Sweden and Europe, competing over a distance of 1,500 meters on grass, in the Listed category, which is designated for purebred Arabian horses aged four years and above.

The Swedish leg holds an important place in the calendar of the precious Cup, as it represents a growing presence on European tracks, and increasing interest from owners, breeders and studs, in addition to the connection of the race to the atmosphere of the National Day celebrations of the Kingdom of Sweden, which gives the event a great public and media dimension, and enhances the value of the Swedish tour in the scene of Arabian horse racing.

The Swedish summit will witness a distinguished meeting that brings together an elite group of former champions and prominent horses, led by the horse “Freddy B” from the descendants of “TM Fred Texas x Via Hippolyte”, champion of the 2023 and 2024 editions, for owner and trainer Gerard Zotlev, and led by the jockey Lorenzo Pozzolo, along with the mare “Frida B” from the descendants of “Al Murtajaz x Hania DA”, champion of the 2025 edition, for owner and trainer Peter Dekkers. Led by jockey Jeremy Moisan.
