Mistakes by Al-Mundhiri and Al-Sanani force a draw between Kalba and Al-Wasl

The mistakes of the goalkeepers of Kalba and its guest, Al Wasl, forced a 2-2 draw on the outcome of the confrontation that brought the two teams together this Wednesday evening at Kalba Stadium, as part of the twelfth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League, in the presence of more than 1,100 spectators.
The first goal came as a result of an error by Kalba goalkeeper Sultan Al-Mundhiri, after he failed to handle a powerful shot fired by Al-Wasl player Sergio Pereira, causing the ball to escape from his hands and land in the net in the 50th minute.
The hosts succeeded in adjusting the score through Iranian Shahryar Moganlou, who successfully converted a penalty kick in the 64th minute, returning the match to a draw point.
Al-Wasl returned to the lead again through its striker Ali Saleh, who scored the second goal for his team in the 75th minute, before the goalkeepers’ mistakes returned to cast a shadow on the match, as Shahriar Moganlou took advantage of goalkeeper Khaled Al-Sanani’s mistake in clearing the ball, to score the second equalizer for Kalba in the 81st minute.
With this result, Kalba raised its score to 16 points, while Al-Wasl raised its score to 22 points, so the two teams emerged with a point each in a match characterized by excitement and influential defensive errors.
