Hossam Hassan decides it.. Egypt’s national team list for the 2026 World Cup

Hossam Hassan, coach of the Egyptian national team, announced the final list of the Pharaohs that will participate in the 2026 World Cup, which starts next month.
The United States of America, Canada and Mexico will host the upcoming edition of the World Cup between June 11 and July 19, with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament.
The Egyptian Football Association published the Egyptian national team list for the 2026 World Cup, which included 26 players, as only one player was excluded from the initial list, which included 27 players, namely Aktay Abdullah, the Enppi striker.
According to what was announced by the Egyptian Football Association, the goalkeeper list included 4 players: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Schubert, El-Mahdi Soliman, and Mohamed Alaa.
In the defense line, the list included: Mohamed Hani, Tariq Alaa, Hamdi Fathi, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Hossam Abdel Majeed, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Ahmed Fattouh, and Karim Hafez.
The midfield was formed by: Marwan Attia, Muhannad Lashin, Nabil Emad Donga, Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Imam Ashour, Mustafa Abdel Raouf “Zico”, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, Ibrahim Adel, Haitham Hassan, and Mohamed Salah.
While only two players will play the role of the clear spearhead: Omar Marmoush and Hamza Abdel Karim, who was the biggest surprise on the list.
