The Ruler of Sharjah approves a site to establish a new headquarters for "Fishermen’s Association" In the suburb of Khalidiya

Sharjah, 8 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a site for the establishment of a new headquarters for the Sharjah Fishermen’s Cooperative Society in the Al Khalidiya suburb of Sharjah.

This accreditation comes within the framework of His Highness’s keenness to support the marine fishing sector, enhance the role of cooperative societies in serving fishermen, provide an integrated regulatory environment that contributes to the development of the fishing profession, and improve the level of services provided to its members, which will reflect positively on the sustainability of fish wealth and support food security in the emirate.
