المملكة: Jeddah.. The Red Crescent rescues a seventy-year-old Sudanese woman who suffered a stroke

Rescued by the Saudi Red Crescent in Jeddah The life of a Sudanese resident in her seventies, after being exposed to An acute stroke, following a report received by the Command, Control and Medical Transfer Center at ten o’clock this morning, Thursday.
The authority explained that the report reported that there was a woman suffering from severe weakness on the right side of the body and loss of the ability to speak properly.
The ambulance teams immediately went to the site, and the case was dealt with according to the approved medical protocols, and the necessary emergency examination was conducted.
It indicated that after the initial clinical evaluation and suspicion of the presence of a stroke, The stroke path was activated urgently in coordination with the Authority’s medical control physician, and the case was transferred to the medical facility.
Pre-coordination was made with the specialized medical team to receive the case through the designated medical path, allowing for rapid direct admission to specialized care and bypassing routine procedures in emergency departments, to complete the necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Efficiency of Ambulance Handling
The Authority confirmed that the speed of the report, the efficiency of ambulance handling, and the integration of efforts between the field teams and the medical facility contributed to increasing the chances of rescue. The patient and reduce possible complications of strokes.
This intervention comes within the efforts of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority to enhance the readiness of emergency teams, raise the efficiency of responding to critical cases, and activate specialized medical paths to ensure rapid arrival of emergency medical services and save lives.
