Sharjah Heritage Institute discusses strengthening cultural relations with Kosovo

Sharjah, January 8 / WAM / The Sharjah Heritage Institute discussed with the Republic of Kosovo the strengthening of international cultural relations and the exchange of experiences in the field of preserving human heritage and the prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
This came as a result of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Institute, meeting today at the Institute’s headquarters with His Excellency Jaber Hamiti, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the country, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides, where ways of exchanging academic and knowledge experiences and the possibilities of implementing joint programs and initiatives that contribute to consolidating common human values were discussed.
Following the meeting, the Kosovo Ambassador and his accompanying delegation took a field tour that included various parts of the institute, where he visited the traditional crafts pavilion and viewed examples of Emirati crafts that reflect the depth of popular heritage. The tour also included the manuscripts pavilion and a number of facilities that document cultural memory and highlight Sharjah’s efforts in preserving and preserving heritage using modern scientific methods.
