Ras Al Khaimah Chamber approves its strategic plan for the next 5 years

Ras Al Khaimah, January 9 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during its regular meeting, chaired by His Excellency Mohammed Musabah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, approved the Chamber’s strategic plan for the next five years 2026-2030.
The plan is based on several basic pillars, including improving and developing the business environment in Ras Al Khaimah, promoting and strengthening the emirate’s position as a distinguished tourist, industrial and commercial interface in the region, in addition to attracting foreign investments and international companies, stimulating external expansion in global markets for companies operating in Ras Al Khaimah, and developing and growing the digital economy in Ras Al Khaimah.
It also adopted, in the proposal prepared by the Chamber’s Strategy and Digital Economy Department, the pursuit of a sustainable competitive business environment that enhances economic growth, focuses on improving the business environment, facilitating procedures, and enhancing governance and transparency, to guarantee the rights of consumers and investors, and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, by supporting emerging projects and providing an environment conducive to investment.
His Excellency Mohammed Musabah Al Nuaimi said that the Chamber plays a strategic role in encouraging foreign investment within the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, contributing to the openness of the emirate’s economy to the outside world, and promoting the UAE’s Vision 2030 globally, in addition to the pivotal role in working to resolve disputes and commercial disputes through amicable alternative methods, including mediation and arbitration.
Mohammed Al Nuaimi discussed with the members of the Board of Directors the plans and mechanisms of the new strategy, and its alignment with the state’s development plans, as the strategy forms the cornerstone of enhancing the position and reputation of the emirate, an economic, investment, commercial and digital capital in the world.
He pointed out that adopting the strategy reflects the Chamber’s commitment to the state’s strategic goals, and achieving the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, which focus on progress, innovation, sustainability, and global leadership.
He added that the strategy is integrated for the next stage, as it strengthens the partnership of the public and private sectors, and reflects the future role that the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber will play in shaping the future of the economy in the emirate, and it will be a starting point for supporting the business sector and improving its competitiveness, pointing out that attracting quality investments, supporting the digital economy, enhancing foreign trade, and improving the competitiveness of the private sector, are pillars that the Chamber will be keen to develop to shape the future.
