The Authority explained that this accurate survey targets women from 15 to 49 years of age, and children from their first day until 14 years, to build an integrated statistical picture.
It indicated that The field action aims to monitor the extent of the spread of “common health disorders” and document the mechanisms for dealing with them within the fabric of society.
A step to support health policies
It revealed the focus of the survey on studying the direct effects of social, economic, environmental and behavioral risk factors on the public health system.
It confirmed that this step contributes effectively to supporting “data-based” health policies, to enhance the quality of life for the target groups.
/>It pointed out its strategic endeavor to identify the most prominent challenges facing access to care services, with the aim of developing effective solutions that improve the efficiency of the service.
The General Authority for Statistics indicated in its clarifications that data collection will be done through field visits to families, to ensure comprehensive coverage and enhance the reliability of the results to support future programs.
