The summit of one billion followers.. Content creator Khaled Al-Amiri: The race for numbers in the digital space "lethal"

Dubai, 9 January / WAM / Khaled Al Ameri, the Emirati content creator and influencer, and Ambassador of the One Billion Followers Summit, called on content makers to stop engaging in the accelerating race of numbers and views in the digital space, stressing that this race drains energies and leads to losing the true meaning of content creation, describing it as a “deadly race” that does not achieve a sustainable impact.
This came during a session entitled “Honesty generates spread” as part of the activities of the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit.
Al-Amiri stressed that the One Billion Followers Summit represents a strategic platform to redefine the concepts of spread, influence, and the role of content makers and influencers, stressing that reach does not necessarily mean influence, and that the true value of content is measured by its ability to bring about positive and sustainable change in people’s lives.
Al Ameri, who has more than 10 years of experience in content creation, explained that the question that most content makers ask in their beginnings is, “How do I make a video that achieves a million views?” However, experience has proven that spread alone is not the ultimate goal. Rather, the real impact is achieved when the content is honest, reaches an interested audience, and is able to interact and make actual decisions based on what is presented to it.
He added: A person may have millions of followers without achieving any real response, while another person with only a thousand followers can achieve a significant economic and behavioral impact, because he has a real audience that trusts him and interacts with him. Impact is not measured by the number of followers, but rather by the depth of the relationship with them.
He explained that speed and rapid spread may achieve temporary results, while deliberate and consistent steps lead to building a long-term impact.
He pointed out that achieving millions of views has become possible through superficial content, saying: Today I can prepare a video that achieves a million views easily, but the real question is: Will this content make an impact? And will it guarantee me continuity? He pointed out that rapid spread does not guarantee recognition or sustainability in the professional scene of content creation.
He touched on his experience in producing purposeful content in cooperation with a company, which took nearly two years to work on, stressing that this type of content has achieved a profound and sustainable humanitarian impact, and continues to receive its positive impact until today.
He stated that the celebration of the first million followers or views fades with time, to be replaced by a constant pursuit of greater numbers, in a never-ending circle.
He stressed that content creation is no longer a passing activity or a hobby, but rather has become an integrated profession that requires commitment, discipline, and continuous effort, likening content makers to athletes in their pursuit of achieving their goals despite the challenges.
Al-Amiri concluded his speech with a message addressed to content makers and influencers, in which he called on them to be impact makers before being view makers, and to use their platforms to spread positive values, spread happiness, and make a real difference in the lives of followers.
