Skin care routine in Ramadan

With the advent of the month of Ramadan, the skin care routine takes on double importance, given the dryness that the skin is exposed to as a result of fasting and changes in daily lifestyle, which makes it need additional attention to maintain its balance and freshness.
In this context, skin care experts advise adopting simple and effective steps that guarantee a healthy glow every morning during the holy month.
At the forefront of these steps is using a gentle, moisturizing cleanser to cleanse the skin daily, away from exfoliating cleansers that may increase its dryness. Cleansing the skin properly helps remove dirt and accumulated environmental factors, and prepares it to absorb subsequent products.
Vitamin C serum is also one of the most prominent ingredients that are recommended to be included in your nightly routine, because of its role in lightening the skin, improving the appearance of pigmentation, and enhancing natural radiance, in addition to its contribution to alleviating the signs of aging.
Retinol also occupies a leading position among effective products, as regular use of it helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve the appearance of dark spots. It is recommended to start using it only twice a week to avoid skin irritation, while washing the face well in the morning and avoiding direct exposure to the sun.
One of the supporting steps that enhance the freshness of the skin is allocating two minutes daily to massage the face while applying moisturizer, which contributes to stimulating blood circulation and giving the skin an instant glow, in addition to the possibility of using specialized tools such as “Gua Sha” to tighten the features and stimulate the skin.
Also, it is recommended to apply the care routine early in the evening, to allow the skin to fully absorb the products before bed, which enhances their effectiveness and makes adhering to the routine easier.
As for using water vapor at night, it is an additional step to enhance the skin’s radiance, provided that the duration does not exceed 5 to 7 minutes to avoid dryness, followed by applying a toner or moisturizing serum and a rich cream to lock in moisture throughout the night.
With these simple steps, it is possible to maintain healthy and radiant skin throughout the month of Ramadan, despite the challenges of fasting and changing daily habits.
