Statement from the Egyptian government regarding the outbreak of bird flu

The Egyptian government denied what was raised on social media platforms during the past hours regarding the outbreak of bird flu on any of the farms.
She explained in a statement that, based on communication with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, it reported that no cases of infection had been detected, noting that it is carrying out inspection campaigns on farms to ensure that they are free of diseases.
In a related context, the Ministry of Agriculture indicated that the slight increase in poultry prices during the current period is due to the succession of social and religious seasons, during which the demand for poultry and its products increases, stressing that poultry prices in this period are 20% lower compared to the same period last year.
