The health situation in the country is stable.. “Emergencies and Crises” and “Health and Community Protection” are following developments in the “Ebola” virus.

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection confirmed the continued strengthening of national readiness to follow up on health developments and deal with various epidemiological challenges in accordance with a proactive approach that ensures the protection of public health and community safety.

This came during a meeting held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Ahmed Ali Al-Sayegh, and under the supervision of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, and with the participation of the concerned authorities and strategic partners, within the framework of periodic follow-up of developments related to the Ebola virus and enhancing the readiness of the health monitoring and response system in the country.

The concerned authorities confirmed that the health situation in the country is stable, and that the national health monitoring and response system continues to work efficiently and effectively.
