"Sharjah Entrepreneurship 2026" Launches an initiative "Little Pioneers of Sharjah"

Sharjah, January 10, 2026 – The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 launched the “Sharjah Young Entrepreneurs” initiative as its latest qualitative addition to the activities of its ninth edition, which is held under the slogan “Where We Belong” during the days of January 31 and February 1 at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.

This initiative, represented by an area dedicated to supporting and developing the entrepreneurial skills of children between 7 and 12 years old, comes in fulfillment of the festival’s vision aimed at empowering the ambitious generation in the various stages of their entrepreneurial journey, starting from generating innovative ideas and ending with leading the innovation process.

The festival opens applications for children wishing to join the first batch in this new area until January 18.

The “Sharjah Little Pioneers” area provides a practical educational experience appropriate to the ages of participants, allowing them to explore the concepts of entrepreneurship through applied learning, idea development, and training in presentation skills in a supportive and fun interactive environment.

In this context, Her Excellency Sarah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), emphasized that entrepreneurship begins with curiosity, which is instilled early and is enhanced by experience, discovery, and building self-confidence and capabilities. She pointed out that the “Little Pioneers of Sharjah” area provides children with a space to express their ideas and interact with the concepts of innovation and initiative in a way that stimulates their imagination and opens up horizons of creative thinking for them, in line with a vision based on the fact that true investment begins with building minds, developing creativity, and consolidating the values of initiative at an early age, leading to preparing a generation capable of transforming ideas into sustainable impact.

After children in the region register via the electronic form, the jury will select the best 10 participants to join a training workshop held within the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, in preparation for presenting their ideas during the initiative’s final pitch competition.

Each participant will have the opportunity to present his idea on stage and answer the jury’s questions, while the first place winner will receive a financial prize of 10,000 dirhams, in addition to honoring three winners with appreciation cups, in addition to granting all participants certificates of participation.

The festival allocated ten attractively designed interactive pavilions to the “Sharjah Little Pioneers” area to showcase entrepreneurial ideas, where participants present their projects during the two days of the festival and highlight their commercial potential. The “Sharjah Little Pioneers” initiative falls within ten carefully designed regions of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, with each region focusing on a specific stage or aspect of the entrepreneurship system, which enhances the festival’s position as a comprehensive platform for entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers in the region.

The festival is expected to attract about 14,000 visitors and more than 300 business leaders, investors and inspirational speakers.
