Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week

ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Jamshid Khudjayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of his participation in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency Jamshid Khudjayev, and during the meeting held today in Abu Dhabi, they discussed strategic cooperation and partnership relations, and ways to enhance them in various fields, including economic, trade and investment, in addition to renewable energy, environment and sustainability.
The meeting also touched on the importance of the topics on the agenda of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, and its role in providing a global platform to enhance international cooperation in the field of sustainability.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the growing relations between the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the common interest in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various sectors that serve their development priorities and support their efforts to achieve sustainable economic prosperity.
The two sides also discussed all current regional and international developments and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
