Dubai, January 14, 2026 – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, will honor the six winners of the “Geniuses of the Arabs 2025” award tomorrow, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
In addition to the families of the honorees and members of their families, the honoring ceremony for the winners of the third session of the award, the largest of its kind in the Arab world, will be attended by academics, diplomats, officials, scholars and specialists from various sectors, in addition to members of the Supreme Committee of the Arab Geniuses Initiative, the Nominations Follow-up Committee, and members of the specialized committees for each of the award’s six categories, with wide coverage from local, Arab, regional and international visual, audio, written and digital media.
The ceremony will witness the honoring of the six winners of the “Arab Geniuses 2025” award; They are Professor Majid Sharqi in the Natural Sciences category, Professor Abbas El Gamal in the Engineering and Technology category, Dr. Nabil Saidah in the Medicine category, Professor Badi Hani in the Economics category, Dr. Souad Al Ameri in the Architecture and Design category, and Professor Charbel Dagher in the Literature and Arts category for the year 2025.
Crowning the winners of the “Arab Geniuses” Award, which has become known as the “Arab Nobel,” constitutes an incentive for them to continue their giving and creativity in various fields that advance the wheel of civilizational and human progress. It also provides Arab youth with distinguished role models and role models that inspire them to follow in their footsteps in the disciplines of medicine, natural sciences, economics, engineering and technology, architecture and design, literature and the arts, and to resume the Arab region’s contribution to the process of development and human civilization.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the “Arab Geniuses” initiative, stressed that honoring the Arab Geniuses is a tribute to the Arab cognitive, scientific and creative achievements that contribute to the progress of human societies and advance the path of human civilization.
His Excellency said that the “Geniuses of the Arabs” project, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is the most comprehensive strategic initiative that honors distinguished Arab minds, and also contributes to highlighting their achievement, and encourages governments, sectors and various institutions to invest in their research, studies, innovations, and knowledge and creative output.
He added that, with the vision of Mohammed bin Rashid, the Arab Geniuses Initiative, in its third year in a row, continues to shed light on the rich march of Arab figures who have emerged globally in their specializations to be a source of inspiration for millions of Arab youth aspiring to real role models that motivate them to put their innovative and promising ideas into practice and take their required and deserved role in leading growth and construction and restoring the momentum of the Arab contribution to the cultural paths of knowledge, research, culture and construction.
This ceremony is considered the most important stop for the largest Arab award in the world, given its status as the “Arab Nobel,” which celebrates the Arab mind, honors it, highlights its achievements, appreciates its contributions, and introduces the Arab region and the world to its exceptional abilities and potential.
