Chinese companies display advanced solar energy technologies in "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026"

ABU DHABI, 14 JANUARY / WAM / Leading Chinese companies in the field of solar energy showcased their latest innovative solutions and technologies during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 activities, stressing the role of innovation and smart technologies in enhancing the efficiency of solar and photovoltaic energy systems, increasing the return on investment, supporting the transition to clean energy, and achieving environmental sustainability goals at the regional and global levels.
9Sun Solar, a Chinese company specializing in solar panel installation technology, participated in a comprehensive display of solar and photovoltaic panel installation solutions for various applications around the world. Its products included floor and ceiling mounting systems for solar farms, parking areas, and garages, a floating mounting system, fixings, scaffolding, various mounting parts, ground screws, accessories, PV cables, and portable energy storage products, providing integrated solutions for large and diverse projects.
Karina Liu, head of marketing for the Middle East and Africa region at Trina Solar, a company working in the field of solar and photovoltaic energy, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the company is displaying integrated energy solutions during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, not just solar panels.
She added that the company’s offers include the latest “Topcon 2-point” panels that are highly efficient in power generation, the “Elementor 3” storage platform attached to the “Grid Forming Solution” to meet the needs of data centers in the Emirates and the Gulf countries, and “Tracker” tracking devices to adjust the angles of the panels in different conditions, especially in desert areas with strong winds, in addition to specialized robots for installation and cleaning that reduce dependence on labor and reduce costs.
AIKO showcased its advanced Full Back Contact (ABC) technology, which places all electrical connections at the back of the solar panels to reduce shadow losses on the front surface, increase light absorption, and significantly enhance photovoltaic conversion efficiency. Its products include monocrystalline panels with capacities ranging from 450 to 700 Wp, the high-performance COMET series with capacities between 625 and 650 Wp, and the STELLAR series for high-power models such as the 645 Wp. Wp” and above, suitable for large projects and distributed stations.
SUNKEAN also presented its advanced solutions for delivering sustainable energy, with a focus on the solar and green energy sector. Among its offerings was the Super Jumper SK-TC CU-AL Conversion Harness, which is designed to provide smooth and reliable connections between copper and aluminum across the entire solar photovoltaic system, including solar panels, collector box, inverter, and photovoltaic system connection box, in addition to the main line connector, “Trunk Connector,” which is an innovative, integrated bus system that contributes to energy transfer. Stably and reduces the number of cables, which enhances the return on investment in large-scale solar projects.
