Abdullah bin Zayed and Kaya Kalas discuss regional developments by telephone
ABU DHABI, 16 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a phone call with Her Excellency Kaya Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, discussed the latest developments in the Middle East region, the overall current regional developments, and ways to enhance the efforts made to consolidate peace and stability in the region and provide the elements of sustainable development for its people.
The two sides also discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and the European Union and its member states, and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, reflecting the strong partnership between the two parties.
His Highness expressed his appreciation for the growing relations with the European Union, stressing his aspiration for more joint work that enhances strategic cooperation between the two sides and supports opportunities for developing development and economic partnerships.
