The Creativity Zone hosts more than 30 sessions and 45 speakers at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026

Sharjah, January 16, 2026 – The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2026, which will be held on January 31 and next February 1 at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, dedicates among its ten event areas the “Creativity Zone,” as it presents an intensive program that includes more than 30 sessions with the participation of more than 45 speakers from company founders, content makers, leaders, and entrepreneurs, with the aim of examining ways to build and expand creative projects and ensure their sustainability in the region.
The “Creativity Zone” offers a program of sessions focusing on how to transform creativity into sustainable economic value, build businesses based on a clear identity and long-term vision, employ cultural narratives in crafting brand stories, communicate deeply with the public, and enhance the presence of projects that clearly represent their communities and values in the market.
The “Creativity Zone” is part of the festival’s zones, sponsored by Emaar Properties – the global real estate development company and provider of distinguished lifestyles, in a move that reflects the growing importance of the creative economy as one of the fastest growing sectors in the world, as international surveys indicate that it constitutes approximately 7% of the global gross domestic product, with expectations that it will continue to grow at a rate of up to 14% annually. From this standpoint, the zone emerges as a practical space to discuss the opportunities and challenges of this sector and link creative ideas to viable and sustainable business models.
Her Excellency Sarah Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa”, said: Creativity is a pivotal element in building economic value and enhancing cultural presence, and the programs of the Creativity Zone come to keep pace with this role and highlighted success stories and sources of inspiration from the creative industries sector, allowing attendees to learn and be inspired by experiences.
She added: Our partnership with Emaar Properties reflects this trend by employing accumulated experience and long-term visions to accompany creative talents through the various stages of their development. Through dialogues, workshops and interactive experiences, the “Creativity Zone” allows participants to exchange ideas, try new business models, and explore the role of creativity in shaping the industries of the future and enhancing cultural narratives.
For his part, Ahmed Al Matroushi, CEO of Emaar Properties, said: Our cooperation with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival confirms our focus on supporting creatives and entrepreneurs who work to create impactful projects based on culture, purpose and long-term value.
In the “Creativity Zone,” a number of company founders and creatives discuss the long-term impact of creativity on business and identity, narrative as a tool for communication and cultural dialogue, and how narrative platforms contribute to highlighting the aspirations of underrepresented communities, in addition to enhancing global understanding, identity formation, and building resilience by looking at films as means to enhance the representation of communities and positive social impact.
