The UAE Special Olympics concludes the National Unified Football Championship
ABU DHABI, 18th January, 2018 (WAM) – The UAE Special Olympics concluded the National Unified Football Championship competitions, which it organized in cooperation with Abu Dhabi University, with the participation of teams from the Abu Dhabi Club for People of Determination, Al Ain Club for People of Determination, and the Dubai Club for People of Determination, in addition to the Abu Dhabi University Unified Football Team.
The tournament witnessed the participation of more than 45 unified players and partners and comes within the framework of Special Olympics UAE’s efforts to promote community integration through sports, and provide the opportunity for players of determination and their unified colleagues to highlight their talents, as it is an important step in the framework of preparations for the Special Olympics 2026 UAE Games.
