DUBAI, 18 JANUARY / WAM / The UAE is participating in the 56th session of the World Economic Forum meetings for the year 2026, which begins in Davos, Switzerland, tomorrow and continues until January 23, with a high-level delegation headed by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and includes more than 100 personalities from the heads of companies, the private sector and government officials, to continue their active and distinguished participation in this international event. His Excellency Al Gergawi added that the Emirati delegation participating in the “Davos 2026” meetings, headed by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Culture and Arts Authority, includes more than 100 senior government officials, entrepreneurs and innovators from various sectors, and is the fifth largest delegation participating in Davos, which reflects the focus on continuing to double the interest in the economic file and all sectors related to its prosperity, growth and development, especially artificial intelligence, Technological innovation, digital transformation, and consolidating government cooperation with major companies and the private sector.

His Excellency said that the UAE is keen to enhance constructive international cooperation in all fields, transfer its expertise in many fields in which it has established its leadership and global competitiveness, and benefit from international expertise within a framework of joint cooperation, in a way that contributes to achieving our national development goals, supports international efforts to confront common challenges, and enhances the opportunities for achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, for the benefit of all countries and societies.

He stressed that the UAE’s participation in the work of the World Economic Forum “Davos 2026” is an opportunity to build and consolidate successful partnerships, constructive dialogues, and fruitful international cooperation, with many countries from around the world, international institutions, major companies, and the private sector, to create major opportunities in all fields, to confront the most prominent global challenges, and to contribute and work together to consolidate stability, prosperity, and comprehensive and sustainable development, and for a better present and future dominated by the spirit of dialogue and joint international action.

The slogan of the World Economic Forum 2026 session, “The Spirit of Dialogue,” comes in line with one of the main constants and values ​​that the UAE is keen to establish, whether at the level of regional and global international relations, its active presence in all international institutions, or within the fabric of the UAE society, which includes among its components more than 200 nationalities that form a harmonious human panorama of world cultures.
