India received an invitation from Trump to join the Gaza Peace Council

A statement issued by the White House on Sunday, shared by Washington’s ambassador to New Delhi, Sergio Gore, on the X platform, said that President Donald Trump extended an invitation to India to join the “Peace Council” initiative aimed at developing a solution to global conflicts. It is not yet clear India’s position on participating in this initiative, which will initially focus on Gaza.

Trump sent invitations to about 60 countries to participate in this initiative, including Pakistan, whose government said earlier today that it would participate in international efforts to bring peace and security to the Gaza Strip.
