We continue our efforts to strengthen the green transport infrastructure, in support of the UAE Climate Neutral Strategy 2050, and the Dubai Green Transport Strategy 2030, which aims to stimulate the use of environmentally friendly means of transport, In line with the emirate’s goals in the field of sustainability, air quality, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the expansion of charging points within the “Green Charger” initiative contributes to keeping pace with the increasing growth in the number of electric vehicles, and providing a smooth and fast experience for users, thus enhancing Dubai’s position as a global destination to live, work and visit.”
DEWA provides four types of “green charger” stations: ultra-fast charging stations, fast charging, public place charger and wall charger. Customers can easily locate charging stations spread across various areas of Dubai through the Authority’s website and smart application, in addition to 14 other digital platforms.
The Authority allows customers to create a “green charger” account through its website www.dewa.gov.ae and its smart application or through the interactive voice response system in the customer care center, to enable them to use charging stations within one hour of registering the vehicle.
