Trust is built by the credibility of the word, the legitimacy of achievement, and the integrity of the laws

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, confirmed that the UAE’s ranking first in the world in the Index of Trust in Governments issued by the Edelman Foundation in New York for the year 2026 came through the trust that was built “through long years of the credibility of the word and the fulfillment of promises… the legitimacy of achievement… the integrity of the laws… and respect for people.”

His Highness said, in a blog post on his “X” account: “The UAE ranked first in the world in the index of trust in governments, in the Edelman Trust Index report issued by the Edelman Foundation in New York for the year 2026.”

His Highness added: “We say that trust is built over many years of credibility of words, fulfillment of promises, legitimacy of achievement, integrity of laws, and respect for people.”
