The Head of State accepts the United States’ invitation to join the Peace Council

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, accepted the invitation from the United States to join the Peace Council, in light of what was announced by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed stressed that the UAE’s decision reflects the importance of moving forward with the full implementation of the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump regarding the Gaza Strip, which includes twenty points, given its pivotal role in preserving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

His Highness also reaffirmed the UAE’s confidence in the leadership of US President Donald Trump, and his firm commitment to establishing peace at the global level, which was embodied in his sponsorship of the historic Abrahamic Accords.

His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s readiness to contribute effectively to achieving the goals of the Peace Council, and to support efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation, consolidating stability, and achieving prosperity for all.
