The Saudi stock market index fell 0.3% at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading

The Saudi stock market index opened (TASI) trading today, Wednesday, decreased by 0.3% at the level of 10,876 points, with trades amounting to 316 million riyals.
According to "TadawulSaudi Arabia"The volume of shares traded amounted to about 15.25 million shares, while the market value recorded 9.228 trillion riyals.
Shares of 179 companies decreased
Shares of 179 companies decreased compared to an increase in the shares of 74 companies out of a total of 268 companies listed on the main market. The shares of: Al-Wasail Industrial, Nofoth, Cooperative, Bupa Arabia, and Al-Rajhi Takaful topped the list of the highest risers, while the shares of: ACWA Power, Al-Tameer, Jahez, Al-Sharqiya for Development, and Smasco were among the most declining.
Parallel Market
The Parallel Market Index declined (Nomwa) at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading by 0.25% at the level of 23,302 points. The value traded amounted to 615.4 thousand riyals, the quantity of shares was 63.3 thousand shares, and the market value was 40.3 million riyals.
The beginning of the session witnessed an increase in the shares of 6 companies, compared to a decrease in the shares of 8 companies out of 125 companies listed in the parallel market.
