The Syrian Interior declares Al-Hawl camp and security prisons prohibited areas

Today, Wednesday, the Syrian Ministry of Interior declared Al-Hawl camp and the security prisons that were recently deployed in it to be completely prohibited areas.
The ministry said in a press statement today: “These areas are currently being secured, the rest of the escaped ISIS prisoners are being searched for, and all necessary data has been completed to control the security situation in Al-Hawl camp and in other centers.”
She added that it is strictly forbidden to approach these sites, noting that whoever does so places himself under legal accountability and accountability.
Yesterday, Tuesday, guards from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) abandoned the camp, located in northeastern Syria.
Al-Hawl camp mainly houses women and children who are family members of ISIS members or those accused of belonging to the organization.
