“AMAC”: Stopping the zinc and copper processing plant for 16 weeks

The Great Factories Mining Company (AMAC) announced a temporary suspension of the processing of basic metals for zinc and copper concentrates through the processing plant, for a period of approximately 16 weeks, starting today, Thursday, January 22, 2026.

This temporary suspension comes in line with the company’s business plan for the year 2026, and will contribute to improving and achieving long-term optimal utilization of ore production in the Sada, Hoora, and Ma’id reservoir, which collectively represent the underground mining mine in the Ma’id plant.
