The UAE delegation in Davos 2026 meets with the President of the World Economic Forum

The UAE delegation participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos 2026, headed by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, met, in a leadership meeting, with the President of the World Economic Forum, Burge Brende, and the Interim Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the World Economic Forum, Larry Fink, as part of the work of the current edition of the World Economic Forum held in the Swiss city of Davos.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, and Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, along with a number of ministers, officials and decision-makers.
During the meeting, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen effective international partnerships and joint work with leading global institutions, which contributes to supporting sustainable development paths and building flexible economies capable of adapting to rapid economic and technological changes.
The meeting discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation with major global institutions, especially with regard to promoting sustainable growth, building confidence in markets, supporting innovation, long-term investment, and empowering communities.
The meeting discussed a number of important topics related to development affairs, including the future of global investment, the role of capital in supporting sustainable development, and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, in addition to the importance of building more flexible and comprehensive economic systems capable of achieving a balance between economic growth and societal responsibility.
The participants in the meeting also touched on the importance of regional and international coordination during the current stage, in light of the complex global challenges, stressing that strengthening multilateral dialogue and cooperation represents a basic foundation for confronting development challenges and anticipating new opportunities for growth and stability, as well as benefiting from successful global experiences and exchanging expertise between countries and international institutions, which contributes to developing public policies, stimulating innovation, enhancing the quality of life, and consolidating the foundations of comprehensive and sustainable development.
