Hazza bin Zayed visits Zakher Lake and winter camps in the Al Ain region
Al Ain, 23 January / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, visited Zakher Lake and a number of winter camps in the Al Ain Region, where His Highness was briefed on the facilities and services provided to the visitors of these camps, and highlighted the most prominent accompanying events and activities targeting different age groups.
His Highness also toured Lake Zakher, during which he learned about the various winter experiences, outdoor sessions and camping activities, and the distinctive seasonal atmosphere the lake provides that contributes to providing open community spaces that meet the aspirations and needs of the region’s residents and visitors during the winter season.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of providing a safe and attractive recreational environment for families to enjoy the winter weather in the Al Ain region, thus enhancing the region’s position as a destination for winter activities and events. His Highness stressed the importance of continuing to develop the facilities and services provided in these camps and improving the experiences of participants and visitors.
During the tour, His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Excellency Rashid Musabah Al Munai, Director General of Al Ain City Municipality; His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
