The launch of the activities of the 14th edition of the SEHA International Radiology Conference

Al Ain, January 24 / WAM / The 14th edition of the SEHA International Radiology Conference was launched today, organized by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “SEHA”, a subsidiary of the “PureHealth” group, and hosted by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Medical City in Al Ain over two days.

This year, the conference is held under the slogan “Excellence in Medical Imaging: Exploring the Horizons of Artificial Intelligence in Radiological Innovations,” and provides the opportunity for senior executives in the healthcare sector, medical physicists, radiologists, medical imaging technologists, and medical device technology partners across the UAE, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Middle East, to participate in a specialized platform to exchange knowledge and develop professional practices with the participation of an elite group of international experts and health sector leaders at the regional and international levels.

The conference discusses a number of main topics, including diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology, subspecialty imaging, applications of artificial intelligence in interpreting medical images, future imaging techniques, patient-centered care, the advanced role of radiology in precision medicine, improving clinical outcomes, and provides opportunities for professional development through discussion sessions, case studies, and educational presentations directed to radiology workers and other specialists in the health care system.

In turn, Dr. Sarim Athar, Chairman of the Scientific Committee and a consultant physician, said that the scientific program was carefully designed to keep pace with current practices and address future trends in the field of radiology.
