المملكة: Including 1,700 infiltrators… 18,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested

Continue Joint field campaignsto follow up and control violators of residency, work, and border security regulations, in all regions of the Kingdom.

And resulted in The campaignsthat took place in all regions of the Kingdom, during the period from January 15 to 21, 2026, yielded the following results:

Capturing violators

First: The total number of violators who were caught in the joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom reached (18,200) violators, of whom (11,442) were violators of the residency system, (3,931) were violators of the border security system, and (2,827) were violators of the Work.

Second: The total number of people arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1,762) people (46%) of whom were Yemeni nationals, (53%) Ethiopian nationalities, and other nationalities (01%). Also, (46) people were arrested for trying to cross the borders outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (11) people were arrested involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, work, border security, and concealment regulations. On them.

Fourth: The total number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures has reached (25,477) violating expatriates, including (23,443) men, and (2034) women.

Fifth: (18,685) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, (3011) violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and (14,451) were deported.

Reporting Violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, or their transportation within it, or provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defamation of him.

It explained that this crime is one of Major crimes that require arrest and breach of honor and trust are urged to report any cases of violation to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
