Former Korean Prime Minister Hae Chin died during his visit to Vietnam

Officials announced on Sunday the death of former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hae Chin (73 years old) during his visit to Vietnam.

South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported that the Advisory Council for Peaceful Unification said that Lee, who was deputy director of the council, died in a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, after suffering a heart attack.

Lee, who held a seat in Parliament for seven terms, served as Prime Minister during Roh Moo-hyun’s presidency from 2004 to 2006.
